Early Morning Camels . . .

Posted by 2 Dollar Productions Wednesday, November 14, 2007

I was drinking coffee this morning, and trying to postpone my workload when I stumbled across a camel, his toe and Sharon Stone in tights.

This was an unusually disturbing combination. It was not a fitting visual for 7:45 a.m. on a Wednesday morning, and honestly, I cannot think of anytime when I would enjoy the sight.

The camel toe phenomenon is not a good one. In general, I find tight and/or too small clothing for women to be a turn-on and something to be encouraged and occasionally applauded. But not in this case.

The CT boasts no redeeming qualities in my book. It can make attractive women look trashy, and trashy women nearly obscene.

There is generally no equivalent for guys that rivals the female camel toe. I recall a "Friends" episode where a guy walks around without underwear while wearing athletic shorts, which ultimately requires Gunther to sternly tell him to put "the mouse back in the house buddy."

But that's not really the same thing.

The only way to rival the CT would be to run around in public wearing spandex shorts and little else, thereby creating a distinct cast molding of your package. Maybe you could term such a thing a pocket rocket or something similar. That being said, I've yet to see this happen, and I could happily live the rest of my days without viewing it.

Then again, maybe my views on this subject are on the fringe, and most people find Camel Toes and Pocket Rockets to be devastatingly erotic entities worthy of exaltation rather than scorn.

These things happen - I just hope to avoid them during the early morning hours at the very least.

  2. "Is your crotch hungry, girl? 'Cause it's eating your pants!"

I see distinct outlines of male parts all the time at the gym, and it's not just the guys rocking spandex. Maybe I'm just looking a little closer than you... Oh, and it's not sexy, but it's also not trashy like the CT.

  4. "The judgement of the Toe depends completely upon the Camel."

  5. there is a movie where a dad buys his daughter a whole new wardrobe because the kids at school are calling her camel toe. she thinks it's because she is tough, like a camel's toe. for the life of me i can't remember what the movie was (though i think it was a dramady) now, that's going to drive me crazy the whole rest of the day.

  7. Crotchwear seems to be the hot topic this week in the blogosphere.

  8. Kismetic - Ha. I like that line, and might steal/borrow it for later use. As for the gym, I bet you're right, but if you add sweat to that mix, then it sounds even worse.

Heff - True. Very true. But I still don't find the CT to be a good look even for very attractive women.

Cats - Good call. I had forgotten about "The Weatherman" with Nic Cage. I am pretty sure that's the movie you're thinking about. Problem solved. Ha.

WhatIgot - These things come in waves, and although I haven't seen a ton of it lately, I will trust your knowledge.

  12. Don't people look in the mirror before they leave the house????

    Kismetic is funny.

    So are you.

  13. soon sharon stone wont need to worry about camel toes, as i dont think they show up when one wears depends.

  14. Jlee - Ha. I don't know how I forgot about that one as it's the best around. Thanks for the reminder.

Anonymous Boxer - I love the hungry crotch line. I cannot figure out how some people leave the house after looking in the mirror and saying "Yes, this is a good idea." And thanks.

Tequila Mockingbird - You're probably right as I think that Depends are absorbption (sp?) based, and therefore should present no problem on the CT front. But let's hope we don't find out for sure, eh?

  18. ok duh now you are.
In Serial Mom the band I think was called camel toes & whoa they had them. (Aren't ya glad I got through or you could've missed this gem of a comment.)Ha

  19. Nobich - I'm glad you kept at it as Blogger has been eating my responses today. And I never saw that one, so yes, I am very glad for the knowledge. Thanks. Ha.

  21. yeah...the CT is just not good in any way, shape and form. But it did get her pic taken and posted on perez among others so my guess is that was the idea. Because besides this latest CT adventure, sharon stone is just not making much news. Now all can see her pretty amazing bod (the woman is in her late 40's I think) and her very pliable vajajay
viva the basic CT sharon...you go wear that with pride!!

  22. One word...EEEEWWWWW!!!

  23. BostonPobble Says:
  24. Why????? Dear God in heaven WHY??????????

  25. Vivavavoom - "pliable vajajay" - now that's funny. And yes, Stone does have a good body for however old she is, however, I would flaunt it in different ways. Ha.

Trinabeingtrina - I second that thought. It does nothing for me.

Bostonpobble - A fair question, but there are NO good answers for the CT. None at all.

  27. This post is hilarious!!

One druken evening my friends and I discussed walking around in white spandex and having a camel toe contest, asking random strangers who has the best one.

    I really should stop drinking!!

  29. The 'Total Recall' Stone: YES

    Today's Stone: NO

  30. Miss Ash - Stop drinking. Please. Maybe you should drink more, follow-through on this dare and then post about it. It would be classic.

Idobcool - Nice pic. And Stone from 'Recall' or "Basic Instict" would be fine by me. Easily.
